Manchester United is Very Close to Signing an £84 Million Deal with Antony

Manchester United had been eyeing Antony ever since the transfer window opened. Now it seems that the club is finally close to bringing the player home. 

Antony is playing at Ajax

Antony is a 22-year-old player who is from Brazil. The player is currently playing for Ajax as a winger. 

Antony Santos started his professional football career in 2018 when he joined Sao Paulo. Antony played for the club from 2018 to 2020. 

During his time at the club, Antony made 32 appearances and score 4 goals for the club. Antony joined Ajax back in 2020 and he is still playing for the club. 

Manchester United has offered £84 Million

Manchester United has been after Antony ever since the transfer window opened. The talks are still ongoing between Manchester United and Ajax.

Antony is not the only player Manchester United has approached from Ajax. Manchester United had initially approached Ajax for Lisandro Martinez.

The club successfully signed him up for £56.7 million. Following the acquisition of Lisandro, the club has also made an attempt to acquire Antony.

The player is in very high demand at Manchester United and for this purpose, the reds are ready to pay a high price. 

Manchester United’s Offer for Antony

The club is actively communicating with Ajax to bring the player on board. To acquire Antony, the club has made an offer of £84 million.

The reds have agreed to pay the basic fee of £74 million and the £10 million fee in the form of add-ons.
